Alex Davies is a singer & musician who auditioned for Series 6 of Britain's Got Talent. He was a twenty year old student at the time of his audition. Simon described his look as that of 'Mark Owen, from Take That', which prompted Alex to thank Simon for what he believed to be a compliment, despite not knowing who Mark Owen were, much to the judges initial astonishment.
In his audition, Davies sang a seemingly original song about travelling around the world with but his guitar and a bag of clothing. Simon described Davies' voice and style of performing as 'Very distinct'. He advanced onto the following round, however he failed to reach the Semi-Finals.
