Allie Sherlock is a singer & guitarist who auditioned for Series 12 of Britain's Got Talent. She was aged 12 at the time of her audition. Sherlock hails from Cork, in Ireland. Outside of the show Sherlock is both a songwriter and a busker.
Sherlock's performance impressed the judges and she advanced onto the following round, however she failed to reach the Semi-Finals. Sherlock's performance was never televised, however she was seen in the second round, upon a card that the judges used whilst deliberating.

A video of her performing a cover of Ed Sheeran's Supermarket Flowers went viral on YouTube in June 2017. In November 2017 she released her debut album entitled 'Allie Sherlock'.
After BGT[]
She appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2018. She has performed frequently on Grafton Street, Dublin. In early 2018, Sherlock performed the song Million Years Ago by Adele on ABC's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Perfect by Ed Sheeran on RTÉ One's The Ray D'Arcy Show. Later in 2018, Sherlock signed a five-year contract with Patriot Records, owned by One Republic lead vocalist Ryan Tedder. Within the same year she released a single entitled 'Gabriel, How Can This Be?'.
In June 2020, she performed with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra as part of the final episode of RTÉ's Home School Hub. Also in 2020, Sherlock was part of a collective of female artists called "Irish Women in Harmony", that recorded a version of Dreams in aid of a domestic abuse charity. Additionally in 2020, she released an EP entitled 'Allie Sherlock', an album entitled 'A Part of Me', an EP entitled 'Live At Elbphilharmonie', and a cover version of a single entitled 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now'.
In 2021, Sherlock released cover versions of the singles entitled 'I Will Survive', 'Back to Black', 'Beggin', & 'Man in the Mirror'. Within the same year Sherlock wrote five original songs entitled 'Hero', 'Locked Inside', 'Without You', 'Leave Me With a Decent Goodbye', & 'The Night Before'. The theme of her single 'Hero' is self-confidence, whereas her single 'Locked Inside' surrounds how she felt during the COVID-19 quarantine period. Her song 'The Night Before' is a song revolving around her mother's death.
In April 2023, Sherlock released an album entitled 'Allie', which included 11 cover songs.[1]
