Ana & Fia Almanda are a singing duo who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 10 of Britain's Got Talent. They moved to Essex in England from Indonesia. Ana was forty two and Fia was eighteen at the time of the duo's audition at the time of their audition. Fia was an A-Level student at the time of the duo's audition, whereas Ana was a full-time mother.
The duo were encouraged to sing together by their family and friends. Ana previously had a difficult marriage however left her partner alongside her children prior to the duos audition.
In their audition, the duo sang 'Tell Him' by Barbra Streisand. Amanda remarked 'It is just wonderful to see you both up there, and for you to be able to seek courage for each other and strength, I just want the best for you', with David describing the duo's performance as 'incredibly emotional from the first word'.
In the Semi-Finals, the duo sang 'Wind Beneath My Wings' by Dame Vera Lynn, whilst stood on a large round platform that was on the stage as they sang. Alesha remarked 'there is nothing more special than mother and daughter relationship and its shining through', with Simon adding 'I thought the first twenty to thirty seconds were okay, and then once [Fia] took up the lead vocal the song went into a different league'.
