Andrew Burton

Andrei Burton is an Extreme Biker who auditioned for Series 16 of Britain's Got Talent. He was aged 37 and worked as a professional Mountain Bike Trials rider at the time of his audition. When asked his ambition Burton stated that it was to inspire the next generation of cyclists. Burton described his performance as 'Parkour on a bike'.

In his audition, Burton performed bicycle parkour on a set of apparatus on stage to 'Uptown Funk' by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars before encouraging Bruno to join him on stage and lie down on his back, as he rode his bike around him with his legs open and jumped over his body with his legs closed whilst upon his bike. Bruno remarked 'What I saw before I was tortured was absolutely the best thing that I've ever seen'. He advanced onto the following round, however he failed to reach the Semi-Finals.

Before BGT[]

In May 2014, Burton broke the Guinness World Record for 'Most bicycle jumps between two platforms in one minute' by achieving twenty one bicycle jumps in this time frame at the 'Bike the Rock' mountain bike festival in Heubach, Germany.[1]

Additionally in August 2014, Burton broke the Guinness World Record for 'Highest 360 vertical drop on a bicycle onto a target' by achieving a distance of 2.52 metres which equates to 8 feet and 3.4 inches at Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle, in London, UK.[2]

In 2016, Burton reached the Final of the 2nd series of 'Ninja Warrior UK'.[3]

Additionally in 2016, Burton broke the Guinness World Record for 'Highest bicycle side hop' with a distance of 1.575 metres which equates to five feet and two inches.[4]

In 2017, Burton broke the Guinness World Record for 'Longest bar-to-bar bicycle jump' with a distance of 2.81 metres which equates to 9 feet and two point six inches.[5]

After BGT[]

In 2024, Burton competed on the 14th season of ‘Romania’s Got Talent’ alongside fellow extreme biker Gabi Orban.

Additionally in 2024, Burton auditioned for the 19th season of ‘America's Got Talent’.
