Arron Jones is a Keytar player and magician who auditioned for Series 17 of Britain's Got Talent. He was aged 30 at the time of his audition. He hailed from Grimsby, however lived in Sheffield at the time of his audition. When asked if he believed he could win, he stated that he believed he could as he believed his act to be unique.
In his audition, Jones had Simon take a card from a deck of cards and remember it, before placing the deck in front of Amanda and giving Alesha and elastic band. He then played the Keytar as he instructed Amanda to put the cards wherever she wanted, Simon to put his card wherever he wanted in the deck, Alesha to wrap the deck in an elastic band and Bruno to take the deck of cards as he played 'Don't Stop Believing' by Journey. He then blew up his amplifier as the number 17 was within it, and Simon's card (The Ace of Hearts) was revealed to be in the 17th position from the top of the deck. Simon buzzed his performance. Alesha commented 'There was so much to like about that', however Simon disagreed adding 'You sound and look very confident, yet it didn't do anything for me whatsoever'. He advanced onto the following round, however he failed to reach the Semi-Finals.
