Ashley Elliot is a xylophonist who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 6 of Britain's Got Talent. He was sixteen years old at the time of his audition.
In his audition, he played the xylophone to a slow and later fast paced backing track, yet as the speed of the backing track progressed so did the speed of Ashley's xylophone playing. His performance was buzzed by both Simon & Alesha. David commented 'He's like a one man, xylophone playing One Direction', with Alesha criticising his performance adding that she believed Elliot would 'work better as part of an entire band'.
In the Semi-Finals, he played his xylophone to very fast paced music. His performance was buzzed by Simon, Amanda, and Alesha, but despite this David still enjoyed the performance, getting up and dancing to it behind the judges desk. Amanda remarked 'I would say you have the fastest hands in showbusiness, but it's not for me', with Simon adding 'I like you Ashley, I just don't like what you play'.
