Bonetics

Shak Alade (Otherwise known as Junior & Bonetics) is a contortionist who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 9 of Britain's Got Talent. Junior had gotten into dancing as he had previously struggled with behavioural issues. He was aged seventeen at the time of his audition.

In his audition, Alade placed his left foot behind his neck, before then placing both of his feet behind his neck. Alade then tilted and stretched his arms in order to touch his knees with them. Alade's performance culminated as he put his hands behind his neck, before doing the same behind his back and curling up in a ball on the floor. Alesha noted that usually contortionism 'Cringed [her] out' yet Alade's never, with Simon adding his belief that Alade's performance may have been 'One of the most incredible things that [the judges] had seen on [BGT]'.

In the Semi-Finals, Alade placed his right foot behind his neck multiple times and later tilted his arms and walked backwards as he did so. Alade culminated his performance by sitting on the floor with his right foot behind his neck, before placing his arms behind his back and right foot in the same place before stretching his arms above his head as he sat upon the floor. Amanda remarked 'It was an astonishing performance', with David jokingly describing Alade as being 'Very bendy'.
