Boogie Storm

Boogie Storm are a dance group who reached the Final of Series 10 of Britain's Got Talent. They were all popular as they dressed as Stormtroopers during all of their performances.

They refused to speak when the Judges asked them to introduce themselves. In their audition, they performed to a number of pop tracks, including 'Sax' by Fleur East, 'Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae)' by Silento and 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)' by Beyoncé. They received Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer, as he remarked 'My dream has come true', with Amanda adding 'You were brilliant [and] you shone some light into this day'.

In the Semi-Finals, Darth Vader featured at the beginning of the performance, before they performed to a medley of tracks which including 'Smooth Criminal' by Michael Jackson, Swan Lake, and 'You Can Leave Your Hat On' originally by Randy Newman. Simon remarked 'We are possibly looking at the winners of Britain's Got Talent', whilst David described their performance as having been a 'Brilliantly original act'. In the Judge’s Vote, the group received two votes from Amanda & Simon, the vote reverted back to the public vote where they placed 2nd therefore sending the group to the final.

In the Final, they again performed to a mix of pop songs, including 'It's Raining Men' by The Weather Girls, 'Vogue' by Madonna, 'Sorry' by Justin Bieber and 'I've Had The Time Of My Life' by Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes. Alesha commented 'Every time I see you I'm liking you more and more', and that she 'Really [hoped they would] do well tonight', with Amanda adding 'You've shown your softer side tonight, we've seen the emotion [and] we've seen the love'. They finished 3rd in the public vote.

After BGT[]

After their appearance on the show, it was revealed by the Liverpool Metro[1] that the group was formed by Lee Seddon, a Liverpool firefighter. He recruited dancers from a dance studio in Liverpool called Jelli Studios, which is owned by Jennifer Ellison from Brookside fame.

In 2017, the group auditioned for the 12th season of ‘France's Got Talent’.

Boogie Storm competed on The Champions (Series 1). In their performance, they danced to a medley of songs including 'Just Got Paid' by Sigala and Ella Eyre, featuring Meghan Trainor and French Montana, 'Gangnam Style' by P.S.Y., and 'YMCA' by The Village People. Amanda remarked 'You were absolutely fabulous' with Simon describing their performance as 'Absolutely bloody brilliant'. Boogie Storm later reached the top three acts for the ability to progress further. Boogie Storm came second in this vote placing one above Ashleigh and Sully, and one below Bello & Annaliese Nock.

In 2020, Boogie Storm competed on the 2nd series of America's Got Talent: The Champions, advancing to the Final immediately due to receiving Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer, yet this was stolen from Howie Mandel as the episode wherein they performed was initially intended to be the episode where Howie selected his Golden Buzzer. During the Final, they performed as part of a mash-up of several acts from the season before finishing in an undisclosed placement within the bottom 5 of the top 10.

In March 2020, Christopher Gittins a member of Boogie Storm was charged on the count of six charges of sexual assault and due to this was imprisoned for two years, and nine months and was placed on the Sex Offenders register. Following Gittins' arrest a sexual harm prevention order was also made against him.[2]

In 2023, the group competed on 'Got Talent All-Stars' which is the Spanish equivalent of 'The Champions' where they were eliminated in the preliminaries.
