Charlie Plaçais is an acrobat who auditioned for Series 10 of Britain's Got Talent. He was aged 29 at the time of his audition. He hailed from Paris, France, however he was residing in Alicante, Spain at the time of his audition.
In his audition Plaçais, fell backwards into a bathtub, before standing up and grabbing onto two ropes, with one in each hand, before being lifted into the air. Plaçais then performed an aerial routine to 'Nasty Naughty Boy' by Christina Aguilera as he lay backwards and span his body around in circles. Alesha remarked that his 'Upper body strength [was] incredible and you have literally made David's day'. He advanced onto the second round, however failed to reach the Semi-Finals.
Before BGT[]
Earlier in 2016, Plaçais competed on the 11th season of 'America's Got Talent', where he was eliminated in the Judge Cuts.
After BGT[]
In 2019, Plaçais auditioned for the 5th season of ‘Spain's Got Talent’ where he once again performed acrobatics upon a bathtub, and went on to receive three of four possible yes votes, however he was later cut from the competition during the deliberations or withdrew beforehand.[1]
