Conected

Connected are a boyband who reached the Final of Series 4 of Britain's Got Talent. The group consisted of Max Mondryk & Harry Mondryk, Matt Fitzgerald, and Myles & Connor Ryan.

In their audition, the group sang 'I Want It That Way' by The Backstreet Boys, and received positive feedback from both Piers & Amanda. Simon however criticised the band as he believed that they looked 'out-dated', before going on to claim that the band shouldn't have attempted to impersonate The Backstreet Boys. In retaliation to Simon's criticism the band performed a rendition of 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' originally by Nikolas Ashford & Valerie Simpson.

In the Semi-Finals, the group sang 'No Boundaries' by Kris Allen. This time the band received positive feedback from all three of the judges. They advanced onto the Judges Vote wherein they received a vote from Simon & Piers, whereas Amanda had voted for Neil Fullard, thus advancing the band onto the Final.

In the Final, the group sang 'What About Now' by Westlife which was originally by Chris Daughtry's American Rock Band known as Daughtry. The band once again received positive feedback from Piers & Amanda, however Simon was critical of their song choice as he believed the song did not make them look 'young enough'. Following their performance they concluded the Final in eighth place.

After BGT[]

In 2011, Max and Harry Mondryk and Matt Fitzgerald announced on Facebook that the other two band members, were no longer a part as they had decided to leave. This lead for Mondryks and Fitzgerald to form ReConnected. However Myles and Connor Ryan continued to perform as a duo. In Late February Myles & Connor formed a new band known as 'The Change' which focused on the pop-rock genre of music, however the band disbanded after just over three months in Early June of the same year.

ReConnected were one of the supporting acts for Little Mix on their 2013 DNA tour, with the other two supporting acts being The Mend, & Loveable Rogues. They also achieved two Official Top 40 entries - 'One In A Million' reached #32 in March 2013, with 'Time Of Our Lives' reaching #33 in November of the same year.[1]

In Late January 2014 the three members of ReConnected posted a video message to YouTube in order to confirm the rumours that they had split and were pursuing solo careers.[2] Between 2015 & 2017 Myles & Connor became television presenters on a local TV Station known as 'That's Manchester' wherein they presented ninety six episodes of weekly offbeat news programme Student Speak alongside regular co-presenters which included Kate Troy, Harvey Thorley, Tom Hoy, Alice Keegan & Lauren Johnston.[3]
