Donald Stan

Donald Standen is a singer and James Bond (Sean Connery iteration) lookalike who auditioned for Series 5 of Britain's Got Talent. Standen was aged 47 at the time of his audition. During his performance Standen was joined by Ian U'Chong (The Oddjob lookalike) and Siobhan Henwood (The Eva Adara lookalike) who both worked alongside him at his and his wife's company 'Action Hero Events'.

In his audition, Standen sang 'Goldfinger' by Shirley Bassey & 'From Russia With Love' by Matt Monro, whilst dressed as James Bond before being accompanied by an Oddjob (from Goldfinger) lookalike and an Eva Adara (from the Video Game 'From Russia With Love') lookalike. The trio's performance was buzzed off. Amanda described the performance as ‘A bit gimmicky', with David describing the act and looks as great, before adding he disliked the singing. They were sent home during the audition stage of the competition.

According to a comment made by Donald's wife Colette Standen on the 'Spiritman Productions' YouTube video of Donald's audition in 2011, Henwood was not initially supposed to be a part of the performance, yet she stepped in at the last minute after another male member of Action Hero Events who was a main Bond character lookalike dropped out the day prior to the audition.[1]
