Edward Hilsum is a magician who auditioned for Series 2 of Britain's Got Talent.

In his audition, Hilsum made several doves magically appear. However, this backfired as his first dove flew away from him and onto the top of the stage. After a pause, Hilsum finished his performance and received a positive response from the audience and judges. Simon buzzed his performance. After the conclusion of his performance Ant & Dec came on stage and attempted to coax the dove back upon the stage. Amanda and Piers voted Edward through to the following round, however he failed to reach the Semi-Finals.

His audition was televised in a montage of animal acts alongside Jackie Perry & Paul & Diane Roach, however unlike the preceding two auditionees Hilsum reached the second round.

In 2020, Hilsum was awarded with the 'The Magic Circle Close-Up Magician of the Year' award, becoming the first ever person to win all three of the society's competitions and hold all three titles at the same time. Soon after this win Hilsum was promoted to a Member of The Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star.

In addition to his performing, Hilsum is also a founder of a production company named 'Love Variety'.
