Ethan Loch is a pianist who auditioned for Series 13 of Britain's Got Talent. He was aged 14 at the time of his audition. He is completely blind and has been completely blind since birth.
Loch's performance impressed the judges and he advanced onto the second round, however he ultimately failed to make the Semi-Finals. His audition was never televised however he was seen upon a card that the judges used whilst deliberating.

In 2016, he was awarded the Premio Asoluto prize by the Vatican at the 15th International 'Giuseppe Sciacca' awards in Rome. Additionally, in February 2016 he was the primary focus of BBC Radio 4's 'Batman and Ethan' alongside Daniel Kish.[1]
In 2017, he won the 7th James Waterhouse Loretto Piano Competition in the "Advanced" class, and as a part of his prize received the opportunity to perform at London's Steinway Hall.
In 2018, he was a finalist in the EPTA Belgium International Piano Competition and released his debut album entitled 'Mysterious Pathways' on Spotify. Additionally in May 2018 he appeared on 'Big Shots, Little Shots', hosted by Dawn French before later going on to perform alone, and perform a duet alongside Romanian singer & harpist Daria.

In 2019, he received his ATCL otherwise known as the Associate of Trinity College London with a mark of 92 out of 100.[2]
In 2020, he released his second album entitled 'Mysterious Improvisations' on Spotify.[3]
In 2022, he won the Keyboard Category of the BBC Young Musician of the year, thus advancing onto the Final 5, wherein he and fellow finalists Viola player Jaren Ziegler, Trumpet Player Sasha Canter & Flutist Sofía Patterson-Gutiérrez were all beaten by Percussionist Jordan Ashman.[4]
