Jack & Tim Goodacre are a singing duo who reached the Final of Series 12 of Britain's Got Talent. Jack was aged 12 at the time of the duo’s audition, whereas Tim was aged 43 at the time of the duo’s audition. They received Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer. The duo hail from Norwich in England.
Before their audition, Jack stated that he 'Always wanted to do something with [his] dad', and that it would be 'Absolutely incredible to win'.
In their audition, the duo performed a song they wrote together, about how lucky they were to have what they had. After their performance, Simon pressed his Golden Buzzer, stating 'That was just so fantastic, so pure, so great', with Alesha adding 'That was by far the coolest father and son act we've ever had'.
In the Semi-Finals, the duo performed another original song as they played their guitars. David remarked that it were 'Very, very brave [of the pair] to come out and do an original song’, with Amanda adding her belief that Jack had 'Star quality’. They won the judges vote with three votes from Simon, Amanda, and Alesha as David had voted for their opposition comedian Noel James.
In the Final, they sang the same song that they sang in their audition alongside playing their guitars. Simon remarked that their performance had 'Brought back so many amazing memories for that day when [he had met the duo at their audition]’, with David adding that it were a 'Beautiful thing' to see the relationship between the pair. They concluded the final in eighth place overall.

In 2020, the duo released their debut EP entitled 'Long Way Home E.P', however it failed commercially.
The have released several Independent singles to critical acclaim, and have a strong following in the U.S and Worldwide, and have recently been Nominated 4x at "The British Country Music Awards " in London. Jack & Tim are also supported by International companies Gibson, Se Electronics, KRK & Ernie Ball. Recent notable performance’s include The British Country Music Festival, and supporting UK supergroup McFly in front of over 7 thousand people.
Having performed worldwide from New York and throughout Europe, Jack & Tim will finally head out to Nashville in March 2022, to release their debut album, that they postponed twice due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. In March 2022, the duo are due to head out to Nashville to record their debut Album, and to perform their first Tour of the East Coast in April of the same year.[1]
