James Kingg is a musician who auditioned for Series 5 of Britain's Got Talent. He hailed from Glasgow in Scotland. He was aged fifty three at the time of his audition.
David Hasselhoff struggled to understand Kingg when he spoke due to his thick Scottish accent, during which time the audition of Linda & Fen was televised. Before his audition he stated he'd be playing his 'own boogie woogie', before asking if the judges knew who Jools Holland were. He then stated that he did not play music by Holland, however he played his 'own stuff'.
In his audition, Kingg played a piano upon a piano whilst seated behind a table. The audience however did not enjoy his performance as they chanted off, prompting the judges to make the decision to buzz Kingg off. He was sent home during the audition stage of the competition. Before he left he thanked the judges for providing him with the opportunity to audition for the show.
