Jay Worley

Jay Worley was a singer from Beddau who competed in Series 5 of Britain's Got Talent. He was a seventeen year old student and singer.

In his audition he sang 'Cry Me A River' by Michael Bublé. He was later buzzed by David Hasselhoff. David commented 'Jay, I don't think your ready.' Amanda Holden added 'The very end was astonishing, that shows me that your a good singer.' Michael McIntyre concluded 'Jay i'd agree with David.' Despite Michael's agreement with David he gave Jay a yes alongside Amanda which got Jay through to the second round.

When the Judges were deliberating, they were left unsure as to which singer was stronger out of Jay and untelevised singer Kevin; both acts were then asked to perform again. Jay performed 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol. Jay won the playoff and made it through to the semi-finals.

He competed in semi final three, singing 'Use Somebody' by Kings of Leon. Michael commented 'I thought it was fabulous.' Amanda added 'Jay I can see your a bit nervous.' Simon Cowell then went on to add 'I thought that was good.' David then went on to conclude 'You absolutely stepped it up man!' He ultimately however saw himself get eliminated at its end.
