John Donald is a keyboard player who auditioned for Series 2 of Britain's Got Talent. He was aged 44 at his audition and had been playing the keyboard since he were four, and believed he were as good as Jools Holland. When asked if he believed he could win the competition, Donald responded 'I'd like to think so'.
Before his audition, Donald stated that playing the keyboard were 'The only thing that [he were] any good at' and how that at times when he played it affected people in 'Quite an unusual way'.
In his audition, Donald played a rendition of 'Johnny B. Goode' by Chuck Berry upon his keyboard. His performance was buzzed off. Simon remarked 'No one will ever pay to see you fiddle with your organ', with Amanda going on to describe the performance as having been 'Rubbish'. He was sent home during the audition stage of the competition.
