Kat Hudson

Katerina Hudson (Professionally known as Kat Hudson) is a magician who participated in Series 14 of Britain's Got Talent. She was aged thirty seven at the time of her audition. When asked by Amanda how she and her husband preceding magician Alan Hudson had met one another she stated that they had met ‘On a group holiday'.

In her audition she removed her jacket and revealed a glass of beer which she provided Simon with. She then tasked David with choosing a number between 1 -20 from wrapped up boxes (He chose number 7 which was the The Girl on the Train) before Kat guessed he chose The Lord of the Rings, before pressing his buzzer. Kat then placed two CDs in a plastic bag and asked Alesha and Amanda to think of a CD and a DVD, before guessing Alesha chose Mr Brightside by The Killers and Amanda chose Peaky Blinders, however Alesha had actually chose I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor by the Arctic Monkeys and Amanda had actually chose Killing Eve which lead to Kat pressing both of their buzzers. Kat then played footage on the electronic screen of a poster she passed and a song she listened to on the way to her audition with each of these matching the judges decisions and being engraved beneath the glass of beer. David described her performance as 'Superb’, with Amanda adding her belief that the performance was ‘So authentic'. She advanced onto the following round, however she failed to reach the Semi-Finals.

Her audition was televised immediately after her husband Alan Hudson's audition.

After BGT[]

Later in 2020, Hudson auditioned for the 7th season of Italian competition series ‘Tu Si Que Vales’ however she failed to reach the following round. Once again her husband Alan auditioned separately yet this time they were shown in two entirely different episodes with Kat shown in episode 7 and Alan shown in the premiere.[1]

In 2021, Hudson starred in London’s West End in magic and illusion show, 'Wonderville'.[2]

In April 2023, Hudson appeared upon an episode of 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us', however she failed to fool the duo.[3]
