Margaret Austin is a poet who auditioned for Series 5 of Britain's Got Talent. She worked as a Lollipop Lady at the time of her audition.
In her audition, Austin recited an original poem. Michael comment that he felt a ‘Lot of love’ for Margaret from the audience, with David adding how he believed that it were humorous how she worked helping children to cross the road, whereas she needed Ant to direct her to the stage. She advanced onto the following round, however she failed to reach the Semi-Finals.
