Martin

Martin Matcham (nicknamed Gos) was an electric guitar player who made the semi finals in Series 3 of Britain's Got Talent. He hailed from Dover in England. He was thirty five years old at the time of his audition, and worked as a sales manager.

In his audition he played the electric guitar to the tune of the song 'I Want To Break Free' by Queen, before going on to sing the song. Both Simon & Amanda buzzed his performance. Piers described Martin's performance as 'sensational', with Amanda apologising to Martin as she believed she may have 'buzzed [him] too early'.

In the Semi-Finals he performed a rendition of 'Addicted To Love' by Robert Palmer as his guitar lit up and he were accompanied by backing dancers throughout the entirety of his performance. Simon buzzed his performance. Piers described his performance as 'Robert Palmer reincarnated', with Simon adding that he 'loved the band', however disliked Matcham's voice, alongside the 'guitar solo'.
