Matthew Hunt is an entertainer who auditioned for both Series 4 & Series 9 of Britain's Got Talent.
Series 4[]
Hunts first audition in Series 4 was untelevised, however a clip of his performance was shown in the 'coming soon' section of the first episode of the series, the clip showed that he brought the piano and his nun costume. However due to a card never being seen for him during the deliberations, it is unknown what he performed and the judges verdict. The only thing that is known is that he auditioned in Newcastle.
Series 9[]
Hunt's second audition in Series 9 was televised. In his second audition, he entered the stage as a nun once again, and sat upon a moving piano with candles modelled on top. He performed the first verse of 'Sing Hosanna', before making an odd noise, which prompted all of the Judges to press their buzzers. Simon commented 'That is one of the worst acts I think I've seen on this show'.
David then asked to ride round the stage on Matthew's piano. The pair rode round the stage for a period of time, during which several other acts were shown performing, and all the Judges were shown leaving the arena. Matthew then rode off the stage, where David told him that he had four 'yesses' and that he was through. It was never made clear whether he actually advanced to the next round, however he did not advance to the Semi-Finals.
Trivia[]
