Michael Fayombo Jnr and Michael Fayombo Snr are Michael Jackson dance performers, and dance impressionists who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 4 of Britain's Got Talent. The duo were a father and son aged 38 and 14 at the time of their audition. Michael Snr originally hailed from Sierra Leone, but moved to Hounslow in West London where he gave birth to and raised his son. Michael Fayombo Jnr was a school student, whereas Michael Fayombo Snr was a Care support worker. They auditioned for the show as they wanted the opportunity to perform for the Royal Family.
In their audition, they performed to a medley of Michael Jackson songs with but Michael Fayombo Jnr on the stage. Midway through the performance Michael Jnr sat down on the stage and his father Michael Fayombo Snr came and danced on stage, before the pair concluded their performance by dancing in synchrony with one another. Simon described the duo’s performance as 'Something that shouldn’t have worked, but it did work', with Piers adding his belief that the duo were 'The best Michael Jackson impersonators [he’d] seen'.
In the Semi-Finals, Michael Fayombo Jnr entered the stage through a sliding doorway, before walking onto the stage and dancing to 'Thriller' and 'Billie Jean' by Michael Jackson. Michael Fayombo Snr then entered the stage from a staircase to his sons right to 'Bad' by Michael Jackson, before the duo danced to ‘Jam’ by Michael Jackson side by side whilst accompanied by several backing dancers. Piers remarked 'Now I know its serious and its become embarrassing for the dad', with Amanda adding 'You looked tired this evening and your son stole the show'.
