Mick & Dave are a pegleg, guitarist and singing duo who auditioned for Series 2 of Britain's Got Talent. When asked how long they'd been performing pegleg playing and what the reaction they usually received were, Mick responded that they'd been doing so for about 30 years and that they wanted to 'Take the roof off if we can'. When asked where they would be in 5 years time, Mick said retired as he was aged 65 at the time of the duo's audition.
In their audition, the duo sang a folk song as Mick played the pegleg and Dave played the guitar. The audience enjoyed their performance, however the judges were not impressed and buzzed the duo's performance off. Piers remarked 'If I was getting drunk and having a few whiskey's, I think I'd quite enjoy it'. They were sent home during the audition stage of the competition.
