Peter Lee was an eighty two year old spoon player, singer, & variety act who auditioned for Series 3 of Britain's Got Talent. He hailed from Glasgow in Scotland. Before his audition, Peter informed the judges that he "did turn up at the wrong auditions last time, but it was because my horoscope said that day I would have a life-changing experience." "When I saw the queues at Hampden Park, I couldn't resist it" in reference to the previous year wherein he auditioned for The X Factor by mistake.

In his audition he sang a song as he played the spoons. He received a warm reception from the judging panel with Simon going on to describe him as a "nice chap". However Peter ultimately failed to make the second round, thus meaning he was sent home during the audition stage of the competition. Despite this however though, Simon informed Peter that he could reapply for X Factor - because he now sang too, rather than but played the spoons as he had done the previous year.[1]
