Red Panda

Rong Niu (Professionally known as Red Panda) is a balance act who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 18 of Britain's Got Talent. She was 54 at the time of her audition and originated from China. When asked what encouraged her to audition for the show, Niu responded ‘I love the British culture and it’d be my honour to perform in front of the royal family’.

In her audition, Niu balanced her body on a unicycle, whilst balancing bowls atop her head, and kicking several bowls onto her head from her feet, therefore creating a stack of bowls atop her head. Bruno remarked ‘That is when acrobatics becomes magic’, with KSI going on to describe her performance as ‘One of the best things [he had] ever seen’.

In the Semi-Finals, Niu invited Bruno on stage to toss bowls to her as she balanced her body on a unicycle, whilst balancing bowls atop her head, and kicked several bowls tossed to her by Bruno onto her head from her feet, therefore creating a stack of bowls atop her head to ‘Pump It’ by The Black Eyed Peas. Alesha remarked ‘Out of all the acts tonight what you are doing is the most risky on live television’, with Amanda adding ‘I am so happy it’s over and I’m so happy it went so well for you’.
