Reuben Gray

Reuben Gray is a singer-songwriter who reached the Semi-Final of Britain's Got Talent in Series 11. He stated that he started playing the piano when he was seven, and writing songs when he was ten.

Before his audition, there were numerous clips of him talking about his dad, who is in the army, and how he wished he could be there to see the audition. As he was introducing himself to the Judges, his dad stood up from the audience and shouted out, shocking both Reuben and the Judges.

In his audition, he performed a song entitled 'Lifeline' about an ex-girlfriend he mistreated, whilst playing the piano. David commented 'What a talented young man you are', whilst Simon simply stated 'You've got talent, you really have'.

In his Semi-Final, he performed another song he wrote for his girlfriend, alongside playing the guitar. Simon remarked 'I like the story, I like you, but I didn’t like the song', however David stated 'I think you’re the real dark horse in this competition'.
