Ruby Red Performers

Ruby Red Performers are an entertainment group who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 9 of Britain's Got Talent.

In the audition, they entered the stage wearing checkered ops, rubber gloves and head covers. The producers enhanced their 'old lady' personas before the audition by showing the audience clips of the performers knitting, as well as talking about stereotypical hobbies.

In their audition, they performed to 'I Want To Break Free' by Queen, dressed as cleaners and danced in a line. When the first verse of the song had finished, the music changed to 'I Like the Way You Move' by Bodyrockers, during which time the women removed their clothes twice and improved upon their dance style. Simon, who pressed his buzzer, commented 'This show is finding something suitable for our Royal Family, and I think they would love to see you again', with Alesha adding 'That has made my day [as] it just got better and better'.

In the Semi-Finals, they began performing to 'The Great Escape', whilst wearing high-visibility overcoats. They then began to perform to a medley of songs, removing a layer of clothes every time they changed songs. Amanda commented that they '[Looked] like Madonna's backing dancers', whilst David joked 'It made me proud to be a woman'.
