The tenth series of Britain's Got Talent aired in 2016, and was won by magician Richard Jones. Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams returned as judges, while Ant & Dec continued to host the main show and Stephen Mulhern continued to host More Talent.
This was the second and final Series to include two wildcard acts with the first voted for by the Public based on the five third placed acts from the Semi-Finals and one of these five third placed acts selected by the Judges as the Judges Wildcard.

The auditions for Series 10 were filmed between January and February 2016 in Liverpool, Birmingham and London. Seven episodes of auditions were aired between the 9th April and the 21st May.

45 acts were chosen to advance to the Semi-Finals.
Semi Finals[]
Each night over 5 consecutive nights, 9 acts performed. Each night, 2 acts advanced to the finals with the first being the winner of the public vote and the second being chosen by the judges between the following 2 acts that placed in 2nd and 3rd in the vote.

At the end of the last Semi-Final, the 5 acts that reached the Top 3 but failed to advance to the final were entered into a public vote to compete for one of the Wildcard Spots. The act with the most votes was reinstated into the competition as a finalist along with the Wildcard act chosen by the judges.
