The Judges during the October 2024 audition tapings.
The audition process for Series 18 of Britain's Got Talent began on Saturday 22nd February 2025 and concluded on Saturday 19th April 2025. During some of the auditions episodes which were taped in late 2024 KSI served as a guest judge due to other commitments that Bruno Tonioli had with Dancing with the Stars in America. Bruno later returned for some tapings in late 2024 as Simon Cowell took a break following the passing of singer Liam Payne which saw some audition tapings that took place in late 2024 ultimately get cancelled, and pushed to a later date in 2024. In the early 2025 audition tapings, both Bruno and Simon returned to the judging panel alongside both Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, though Ant & Dec retained their position as the hosts of the show throughout the entirety of the audition process.
Eight episodes of auditions were shown in total. For the first time since Series 14 extra acts had their auditions televised on a sister show as Britain's Got Talent: Unseen Bits returned and replaced the new sister show BGT Reacts, which was axed after but one series. A total of 109 acts were televised across both the main auditions, and BGT: Unseen. A total of at least 89 acts (including 74 televised acts with known verdicts) moved on to the next round, and at least 27 acts (23 televised) were rejected. 9 acts were sent directly to the Semi-Finals.
