Sign Along With Us are a sign language and singing act who placed as the Runners-Up in Series 14 of Britain's Got Talent. They also have their own YouTube channel. They received David Walliams' Golden Buzzer.
Initially two members of the group, Jade and her brother Christian, entered the stage to introduce the act. Jade was aged 18 whilst Christian was aged 4, and Jade had started the sign language class after teaching Christian, who struggles with co-ordination due to his cerebral palsy. The group also contained a girl, Ella Chadwick, who had previously met Simon Cowell at the Pride of Britain Awards after receiving an award for the most courageous child.
In their audition they performed 'This is Me' from The Greatest Showman by Keala Settle and The Greatest Showman Ensemble whilst all wearing clothing of a range of colours which read the words This Is Me, by singing as well as performing sign language to accompany the song. Amanda described the performance as 'Really, really moving', with Simon adding 'You define what this show should be all about'. David pressed his golden buzzer for the group, sending them automatically through to the Semi-Finals.
Two months later Ella began to be featured in her own advert for bank HSBC from her home. In September 2020 Christian & Jade were given the ability to play the 'This Morning' game spin to win and the pair won £1000.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only a portion of the group were able to perform on stage; the rest of the group pre-recorded sections of video, which were displayed on screen during the group's Semi-Final performance. They performed 'True Colours' by Cyndi Lauper and 'Unbreakable' from Uglydolls by Kelly Clarkson & Janelle Monaé. David remarked 'For me you would be a fantastic winner of [BGT]', with Alesha adding 'I smiled the whole way through'. They won the Public vote and advanced onto the Final.
Once again, only a portion of the group were able to perform on stage in the Final, however more were present than in their previous performance. The group performed 'The Climb' by Miley Cyrus, which David described as 'Magic', with Alesha adding 'You're all just a sign of joy and hope'.
After BGT[]
Later in 2020, the choir acted as the secondary focus of the first series of 'Jade Kilduff' a documentary series about one of the groups members and her younger brother.[1]
In Winter 2020, the group performed a rendition of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' by Mariah Carey by both singing and signing during the Britain's Got Talent Christmas Spectacular, whilst Ashleigh Butler and her dogs Sully & Eliza (who made her TV debut) performed several differing dog tricks.
In February 2021, both Jade & Christian appeared on an episode of 'This Morning'.
In December 2023, they appeared as guest performers on an episode of ‘Steph’s Packed Lunch’ where they closed out an episode by performing ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman.[2]
