Soldiers of Swing are a musical duo who made the Semi-Finals during Series 14 of Britain's Got Talent. The duo consisted of friends Vince and Lee, who met whilst in the army reserves.
Before their audition, they remarked that 'performing in front of our commander in chief [The Queen] would be incredible'. Initially they began to perform 'That's Amore' by Dean Martin, however Simon stopped the act, remarking 'the song choice for me was the big issue, as for me this is a throwaway song'. They were then asked to perform their second song, 'Luck Be A Lady' by Frank Sinatra, to which they recieved a standing ovation. Simon commented 'I think your voices work well together; but what I think really works is your friendship', with David adding 'I think we're really gonna remember you'.
The pair opened the final Semi-Final of the series. They performed a swing version of 'Story of My Life' by One Direction, with pictures of their own lives appearing on the screen behind. The pair also wore their uniform, with other uniformed men beside them playing trumpets and saxophones. David remarked 'you have come a really long way and tonight you smashed it', with Alesha adding 'the chemistry the both of you have is lovely to watch'.
