Strictly Wheels were a ballroom dance duo from Series 6 of Britain's Got Talent, who made the semi finals. The duo consisted of thirty nine year old HR Manager Gary from Manchester and forty one year old retiree Paula, who did volunteer work.
In their audition Gary danced and walked around the stage to Empire State Of Mind by Alicia Keys. He then held onto Paula's hands before she held him upright on the side of her wheelchair before he stood back upright. The duo then walked around in circles, before Gary began doing flips, as Paula span around in her wheelchair. Gary then walked around stage before standing on one leg as Paula span around as he held onto her hand. They received a standing ovation from the audience. David Walliams commented 'That was amazing, you turned what might've been a negative, into a positive.' Amanda Holden added 'Your control, and the way you move in that wheelchair is fantastic.' Simon Cowell stated he believed the act was 'fun.' Alesha Dixon concluded that their audition was 'Surprising, refreshing, and unique.' The duo made the following round with four yesses, and later advanced through to the semi finals.
In the semi finals they did a dance routine to Dance With Me Tonight by Olly Murs. As Paula span and rode her wheelchair around the stage, as Gary jumped upright several times. Gary then held Paula's hands as she span around in her wheelchair. She later continued to do so afterwards. She then span around as he held her hands on one leg, before standing upright on the back of her wheelchair. The performance concluded with Gary laying down on the floor in front of Paula's wheelchair. The duo were eliminated by public vote at the end of their respective semi final, semi final 5.
