The Collaborative Orchestra

The Collaborative Orchestra and Singers are an orchestra who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 10 of Britain's Got Talent.

Instead of introducing themselves as an orchestra, the group's pianist, Nicholas Bryant, entered alone and claimed that he was playing the piano. He began playing 'Don't Stop Me Now' by Queen, before being joined by a female violinist, a conductor who entered the stage, more musicians who appeared from behind the judges, a choir and a brass section. Alesha commented that it was 'one of the most brilliant performances I have ever seen put together', whilst David described it as 'really really special'.

In the Semi-Finals they performed a medley of songs such as 'Hey Jude' by The Beatles. Interestingly, Nicholas, who was the pianist in the audition, played in the violin section. Amanda described their performance as 'just fantastic'. Simon added that he hadn't 'seen or heard anything like [the groups performance] on the show', before adding that the thing is that sometimes in the studio it 'sounds amazing', yet he had no idea how their performance would sound to those who were watching at home.
