The Coven

The Coven are a dance troupe who made the Semi-Finals during Series 14 of Britain's Got Talent. They were aged between 10 and 19 at the time of their audition.

They did not introduce themselves; instead, one member of the group was revealed behind a safety curtain, wearing face paint and holding a flame, before the remainder of the group entered the stage carrying flames. They then broke into a routine, involving breathing fire and pressing their faces close to the Judges, the backing track being Hidden Citizens’ rendition of 'It's a Sin' by the Pet Shop Boys. David remarked 'This we have not seen before', with Alesha adding 'You put on a spectacle ... it was powerful, it was strong and I want to see more'.

In their Semi-Final performance, the group emerged from behind the Judges and begun by prodding them with sticks. They then proceeded to perform a routine to Hidden Citizens’ remix of 'Somebody's Watching Me' by Rockwell, a burning forest serving as the backdrop. Ashley remarked 'You did everything you set out to do – I think it might well be my favourite of the night', with David adding 'In terms of talent and imagination, you’ve got it'. They advanced onto the Judge’s Vote however they failed to reach the Final.
