Britain's Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician, is a Britain's Got Talent festive special, aired on 18th December, 2022 which saw 10 magicians from Britain's Got Talent and Got Talent shows from around the world compete for the title of 'The Ultimate Magician'. As Simon Cowell was filming 'America's Got Talent: All Stars' in the USA when The Ultimate Magician were filmed, he was replaced on the judging panel by Penn Jillette from double act Penn & Teller, yet Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams all returned. The special was initially intended to be hosted by Ant & Dec, however as they both contracted COVID-19 at the time of filming, hosting duties were instead given to former Britain's Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern.[1]
