Tony Rudd is an impressionist who reached the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent in Series 13. He was 58 years old at the time of audition, stating that he first began performing 30 years ago, however he gave up his career to work in a disabled school. He remarked 'to actually perform in front of the Judges is a bit of a dream for me'.
In his audition, he used household objects to make himself appear similar to certain characters, and performed their respective impressions. These included the woman from The Cube, Michael McIntyre, Darth Vader (using a bucket), Yoda (using a cabbage), C3PO, Homer and Marge Simpson, and a Minion from Despicable Me. Amanda described the act as 'very, very funny, and unique', with Simon adding 'I like this and I like you'.
He began his semi-final performance with an introduction similar to those seen in Star Wars, including a remark about Simon's spend on dental whitener. He then proceeded to perform a number of impressions in quick succession - Characters from Star Wars and Back to the Future, Donald Trump, Donald Duck, Sia, Buzz Lightyear, Donkey from Shrek, Pinocchio (his nose lengthened after stating 'David is my favourite judge'), characters from Mrs. Brown's Boys, and Spider-man, using umbrellas to simulate webs. Amanda described the act as 'enormously home grown, but very slick and professional', with David adding 'it made me feel like a kid again'. Simon criticised the act however, stating that the act 'felt a little bit like a rehearsal, rather than the main performance'.
