Unity are a dance group who reached the Semi-Finals of Series 16 of Britain's Got Talent. They were aged between 16 and 25 at the time of their audition. When asked what they'd do with the money if they were to win, they stated that they'd have to figure that out and when asked if they believed they could win they stated that they certainly hoped so. They received Simon Cowell's 2nd Golden Buzzer.
In their audition, the group performed a piece entitled 'I Will' wherein the group aimed to have society accept them for their differences to 'The Village' by Wrabel, as footage of the group discussing how society treated them were shown on the electronic screen behind them. Simon remarked 'We don't have any Golden Buzzers left [yet] sometimes I think you should just break the rules' pressing the Golden Buzzer for a second time, sending the group directly onto the Semi-Finals. Alesha added 'That's how you use a stage, we heard your message loud and clear'.
In their Semi-Final performance, the group performed to 'Scars To Your Beautiful' by Alessia Cara, the routine focussing on putting down mobile phones. All four Judges praised the act, with Alesha remarking 'I thought the choreography was absolutely beautiful and the whole way you put that together was absolutely stunning', and Amanda adding 'For me, everything about it was beautiful'.
Before BGT[]
In 2019, the group competed upon BBC's 'The Greatest Dancer' as Unity UK wherein they performed a street-dance routine, however they failed to reach the live shows.[1]
